Dogs 4 Adoption is based St Giles Kennels in Wrantage near Taunton. We are responsible for caring for many of the county's stray dogs, sadly many are never claimed and so are made available for re-homing. Despite being called Dogs 4 Adoption we also have large numbers of cats and small animals for adoption as well.

EVENT; Dogs 4 Adoption Country Fayre and Dog Show at Stoke St Gregory Playing Field (TA3 6EQ)

on Sunday 27th May between 11am - 4pm.

Lots of attractions from Motorbikes, Craft Stalls, Agility Display, Police Dog Demonstration, Bar, Fun Dog Show, Food……it’ll be fun for all the family!

Before being re-homed all animals are micro chipped, neutered, vaccinated and wormed. We carry out home checks and thorough interviews to ensure all of our animals are matched to the correct owners. Please consider the time and space you have for a new pet, for dogs you will require a secure garden and suitable places to exercise.

Please also consider the costs of a new pet; as well as food they will require regular vaccinations and vet treatment if they became ill. We can offer advice on pet insurance and we have a range of foods available to buy on site that can also be delivered.

WE ARE OPEN FOR APPOINTMENTS BETWEEN 10AM - 5PM.

WE ARE NOW CLOSED ON WEDNESDAYS AND DAILY BETWEEN 1-2 P.M

VIEWING OF THE ANIMALS IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. THE DOGS 4 ADOPTION TEAM WILL TAKE YOUR DETAILS AND HELP TO FIND THE MOST SUITABLE ANIMAL TO YOU.

A Greyhound? ....we currently board Greyhounds on behalf of the Greyhound Trust. Many people believe Greyhounds are high energy fizzy dogs but they are bred to do a short sprint and that is what they do best, 90% of the time they are the laziest breed of dog you can come across!!, they absolutely love a big bed or sofa to sleep on and they make great family pets because of their very kind gentle nature.

A Staffordshire bull terrier?..... sadly these fantastic dogs are often shown in a bad light by the media but are in actual fact fantastic family pets. For those people looking for a good all around dog, who will be a loyal companion with bags of personality then look no further than a Staffie!
